Warranty

The warranty period stated in this Table supersedes and replaces the warranty period as stated in the user’s manual for the relevant products.

Product Type	Product Warranty Period
Wireless Routers and Adapters with Built-in IEEE 802.11n Technology (excluding power supplies and accessories)	Two (2) years. For products bought before 1st January 2009, the warranty period is 11 years.
Smart Switches (including internal fans and internal power supplies)	Limited Lifetime Warranty. This means the warranty will only end 5 years after D-Link (or its successor) discontinues sales of the product in Europe. You must register your product to get the Limited Lifetime Warranty (see below).
Managed Switches (including modules and internal fans and power supplies,	Limited Lifetime Warranty. This means the warranty will only end 5 years after D-Link (or its successor) discontinues sales of the product in Europe. You must register your product to get the Limited Lifetime Warranty (see below).
Chassis based Swi tches (including modules and power supplies)	Two (2) years.
Business Wireless Products ( i .e. wireless switch family, outdoor wireless, metal chassis access points) (excluding external power supplies)	Limited Lifetime Warranty. This means the warranty will only end 5 years after D-Link (or its successor) discontinues sales of the product in Europe. You must register your product to get the Limited Lifetime Warranty (see below).
Firewall Security Appliances (excluding external power supplies)	Limited Lifetime Warranty. This means the warranty will only end 5 years after D-Link (or its successor) discontinues sales of the product in Europe. You must register your product to get the Limited Lifetime Warranty (see below). In addition, D-Link offers a free 3 months IPS pattern/signature update after registration. To extend the IPS pattern/signature update, customers can purchase 12 months subscription packages from their local D-Link reseller.To register your firewall for your free 3 month update or to activate your authentication code that you receive when purchasing the 12 month update subscription, please visit our NetDefend Security Portal: http://security.dlink.com.tw
All other products (including all modules, transceivers, external power supplies and accessories)	Two (2) years.

- REGISTERING FOR LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY: In order to qualify for the Limited Lifetime Warranty, all eligible products must be registered with D-Link Europe within thirty (30) days of purchase. Registration can be done through our Self Service Portal at the following address
